For 20 years, Beverly Jones has helped leaders promote new productivity and engagement in their teams, and assisted attorneys and other professionals to grow and thrive in their careers. Her work often focuses on building resilience, enhancing performance, managing time and energy, improving communications, navigating transitions and difficult situations, and learning to flourish at work and in life.

Among Bev’s strengths are sorting out complicated strategic challenges and helping to frame and communicate complex issues. Bev writes and speaks about many matters related to leadership, collaboration, engagement, professional and personal growth, and well-being. Her recent book, “Find Your Happy at Work,” is a handbook for engaging your team members at the same time you find more satisfaction, meaning and success in your own career. Her earlier book on building career resilience, “Think Like an Entrepreneur, Act Like a CEO,” is available around the world, from Africa to India and Europe, and in languages including Simple Chinese, Arabic and Vietnamese.

Since 2017, Bev’s podcast on career issues, “Jazzed About Work,” has been produced by WOUB Public Media. It features interviews with great storytellers and leading experts on leadership, workplace trends and everything that might have an impact on your career. It is available on NPR.org/podcasts and other major podcast portals.

Bev is a former attorney, and led public affairs and policy at Fortune 300 energy company Consolidated Natural Gas. She began her legal career at the Securities and Exchange Commission, and was a partner at Wickwire, Gavin & Gibbs. Before law school, Bev was assistant to the president for EEO/affirmative action at Ohio University.
